The Bridgers

A crumbling society leaves its infrastructure to rot, and the death toll doesn't matter. The rejects and failures of an entire city gather on a derelict bridge to quicken its collapse. Some of these "bridgers" cross for the frugality of free passage. Others seek a last chance at excitement. Steve, a hard-bitten fitness trainer, takes the ferry to work in this viciously competitive dystopia.
