While Aswin resides in Singapore, Brenda lives in the United States, but they managed to work round the distance, literally from opposite sides of the world! Though he was in the Computer Industry, he had at the back of my mind, plans to write science fiction novels. Aswin also works with 2D/ 3D graphics and some animation. Besides Brenda, Aswin also work closely with his brother, Yaswin Rai, and a British friend, Geoff Briscoe, on other writing projects. Brenda Layman is a freelance writer and an active member of the National League of American Pen Women.
She has also received awards from The Outdoor Writers of Ohio. Several of Brenda's short stories have appeared in Columbus Creative Cooperative anthologies. She resides in Pickerington Ohio where she writes magazine articles, short stories, and poems. Brenda is also a photographer and watercolour artist.
