Teach Me How to Kill

The man kicked open the door with a powerful boot. The door went loose from its hinges and flew into the house. The door flew open and this caught Joseph Briggs off-guard. He had been standing behind the door, all this time. When it flew off, he was also knocked to the ground from the force of the kick. He looked up and saw the men standing over him. Briggs pointed his gun at the man in front of him.
He was about to pull the trigger, but the man was faster. He fired first and shot Briggs on the arm. Pain shot through where he had been hit, and Briggs cried out.
