Jane Matheson is a spoiled young woman, caused when she lost her mother. Her hard working father can't get through to her. He is a teacher and so Jane follows his lead but being raised alone, she doesn't understand children. Her father coincidentally meets a man from Rigsby, Wyoming, a rancher who is solid and real. He wonders if such a man could get through to his self-centered daughter. When a position for a teacher comes up in Rigsby, he encourages Jane not to take it, knowing that her stubborness would take it.
She would have a lot to learn and make mistakes in Rigsby but she was fortunate that the town was a forgiving one when one apologized. The man Matt, has problems of his own. His wife ran off with his baby daughter, turned her over to an agency under a false name, and then was killed in an accident. He had been looking for his daughter forever. Will Jane get her act together to help him find his daughter? In the process, will they find each other?

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Sandy Grissom

Sandy Grissomhas loved books all her life. That love began by listening to her older sister read when she was still too young to discover the magic for herself. She's read everything from history to the phone book but her favorite authors are James Michener, Agatha Christie and the mystic William Blake. Over the years, romantic novels became a favorite. The top of that list is Pride and Prejudice.
When she retired she had too much time on her hands and spent too much money and trips to the library to get books in order to satisfy her restless soul. It was then she began to write herself. As an adult she held a variety of jobs, all of them grist for her imaginative mind. The occupations in Choppy Waters will hopefully inspire someone to fight for their own dreams, to never give up on themselves or on love.
A widow, Sandy recently moved to southern Indiana where she lives near the younger of her two beloved sisters.
