Syncopated Singularity

When I set off to assemble this collection of writings, I saw it as selections from a single author. But, as I began to select stories, poems and essays, I quickly realized that I had been writing in three voices. The first section contains short stories and poems that I've written over the years. They reflect some of my thinking on the human condition - and the experiences that all of us have in living a life amongst others.
The second section is a selection of quasi-fictional adventures. Like those in the first section, they are all based on actual experiences I've hadThe third section contains essays in the style of Zen musings. Most of them were written as teaching pieces. I hope you enjoy reading these stories, poems and essays as much as I did living and then writing them. If they bring you some new understanding, wonder or pleasure, I will count that as profit.
