Biographie de Catherine Dyson
Catherine Dyson is a writer, director and producer. She is a graduate of the Australian Film TV and Radio School and Deakin University. Her films have been broadcast in Australia and internationally, and have screened theatrically. Her award nominations include Mohamed Ali's Happy Day Feast (1998) Best Documentary, Australian Film Institute Award, and A Wing and a Prayer (2000), the United Nations Media Peace Award.
Catherine's documentary screenwriting credits include - A Wing and a Prayer, Echoland: the Kokoda Trail, Cousin Brother Cousin Sister, The Picasso Ransom, Swing By Sailor. She worked as interviewer, videographer and editor on the national archive project - Australians at War Film Archive (2003 - 2005). Catherine also works as a script editor and script assessor at the Victorian College of the Arts Film School.
Her first book, Swing By Sailor: True Stories from the War Brides of HMS Victorious was published by Hachette Livre Australia in 2007.
