"How was the alpha's meeting?" Keal  inquired, rising from his seat and walking over to the mini bar. He poured two drinks and handed one to me, a gesture to ease the tension between us. "The usual stuff, Keal." i waited patiently for his responds  "Enough with the evasive answers, Ethan. Tell me."  "The Silverwood Pack made a strange request, " I admitted. Keal's eyebrows furrowed in curiosity and concern.
"What did they ask for?" "They needed help to find a wolf who didn't claim his mate, " I revealed, hoping Keal would grasp the significance of the situation. I observed my Alpha's conflicting emotions, realizing that Keal knew exactly what this request meant. "They have a name, " I continued, almost teasingly.  "Enough, Ethan, " he finally said, his voice firm yet heavy with emotion. "You're excused."
