Surprise Me - Flight of the Maita, #34

The Freenz call the detective agency to investigate things that seem strange to them. They realize that what might seem strange to an insectoid would not seem strange to others. There was something very strange going onCritic commentI began this reading with personal feelings I would not like it. It is the type of thing that is totally predictable, and the fantasy-like subjects sre not my preference.
Moulton has a penchant for societal directives that do not appeal to me. It did surprise me! I liked it. It describes personalities rather well and familiarizes one with the characters. I will not describe the story here, as it would tend to detract from the work. I will say it is a worthwhile read for those who like a character oriented story. EVG - ***1/2
