Scrub, Gown and Glove ProceduresBefore you can begin to perform certain duties you must perform the surgical scrub and wear a sterile gown and gloves. Whenever you are assigned to scrub for more than one case, you must remove your gown and gloves using special techniques devised to keep you from touching the contaminated side of the gown and gloves. Sterile ProceduresA cardinal rule in the medical field is to not do more harm than good to the casualty.
