Supplying Warring Nations With Huge Amounts Of Lethal Weapons: Moral Or Immoral Arms Race?

Supply of massive amounts of lethal weapons to Ukraine by Western countries has been touted as helping Ukraine to defend itself from the Russian attack. The same is argued for USA's role in the Israel-Hamas war. Are they helping to end the wars, or are they instead prolonging and escalating the brutal wars?Is this the right way to end a war?
