#1 If you have a history of being hurt or mistreated, you may be a Walking Wounded. You may think, I know this happened to me, but that was a long time ago, and I don't want to remember it anymore. But the pain is going to stay with you, trying to find a way to get you to acknowledge it.
#2 I used to unconsciously choose narcissistic, wounded people as friends. I didn't know it at the time, but I eventually learned that this was a result of my wounded little boy part that instinctively knew how to interact with someone who needed attention and validation.
#3 We all have PTSD, and it is your duty as a wounded person to honor and validate your feelings. This is your chance to finally heal.
#4 We all carry what I call recycled pain, the wounding that shows up when something triggers an old hurt. This part of you is frozen in time at the age you were when the significant emotional event happened.
