Solstice Spells

The summer solstice is a time for wizards to make acquaintances, engage in friendly banter with their peers, measure their skills, perhaps make an occasional wager. Naya isn't happy when her husband Reyal comes home with a red-headed sorceress he won on a bet--especially when she finds out that she's the one who'd have had to pay the price if Reyal had lost. On the other hand, Bec is cute and fun and if Naya's very good Reyal says he'll let Naya play with her.
But if Naya's very bad Bec will get to work her own devious brand of magic on Naya--and Naya is nearly always bad .
