Gerald Kramer is a retired college professor who has held a variety of jobs in his work life including factory worker, men's clothing store salesperson, census taker, and human resources and payroll manager. Film noir films from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s such as Double Indemnity and Sunset Boulevard are popular with him. The Dean's List is his second book and reflects his knowledge of working on college campuses for almost thirty years.
