After discovering that Susan-Jane Lawrence was born exactly two hundred years to the day, practically to the hour after Jane Austen, she had no option other than to start writing. Unlike Jane Austen she married at nineteen, taking both her husband and her cat to Reading University where she studied Film and Drama.
