Serpents and Doves

In the late 1960's the United States was anything but united. Vietnam, Civil Rights, Integration, Free love, Free speech, and most of the trouble was building on college campuses, just as Stephen Mitchell was as off to college. Mason College was a small church related school in Tennessee hopefully not torn apart by the troubles of the rest of the United States, but Mason is not some isolated backwater.
It had connection to the world and Stephen was about to dive into it head first.
