I was minding my own business, backstage at the Spring Harbor music festival, when she walked in looking for her sister. Was I intrigued when she didn't recognize me and thought I was part of the crew? Yes. Should I have told her the truth? Also yes. Did I? Hard no. As soon as I saw her, I wanted her. The second she told me her name, Sky, the same as the title of my first award-winning song, I knew she was fated to be mine.
I wasn't letting a little thing like being a rock star get in the way of that. So what if she's my tour manager's sister? I'll do whatever it takes to win Sky's heart. Because I know the only thing that matters: Sky is mine.
