When Megan Cameron, freelance journalist, suspects her hotel partner and beloved godmother, Amelia, of having unintentionally stolen the legendary Rock Of Ages, an invaluable Celto-Christian treasure, from the Edinburgh Museum of Antiquities, she dismisses the possibility as ludicrous. Their innocent calm on the Scottish island of Arran is disturbed by the arrival of three men.
