Today, we have a showdown of the real estate titans! If you have a 20-year horizon to retire overseas with $10, 000/month passive income, which path would be more effective-rentals or REITs? First, we have "owning and managing" your own physical properties. Next, we have "buying" REITs on the stock market. Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages, so let's start by looking at those. My answer will be a surprise.
However, the best thing about having a mindset for real estate is choosing your own path.  Not only that, you can make your own adjustments by adding and subtracting techniques that don't align with your goals.
