Biographie de Bill Masuku

Bill Masuku is a Zimbabwean based comic book artist and writer, with a love for fantasy, magic, and the supernatural. Born in 1993, he found his penchant for creating stories through art. Through junior school, his doodles were the outlet of his ideas and in high school, he found greater levels of expression in his English composition lessons. Attending Rhodes University, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa - studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce, he was recruited by an improv comedy troupe called NatCaf and went on to perform stand up comedy at the National Arts Festival of South Africa.
In 2016, he began his comic book career by self-publishing the comics Razor-Man and Captain South Africa. Gaining enough acclaim to be invited as a guest speaker for several events in the region including the Harare Literature Festival, Comic-Con Africa, and the Johannesburg Art Gallery's Art of Comic. His comic art has been featured in the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe and in Centro Cultural Português in Maputo, Mozambique.
