Biographie de Beccy Cole
Beccy Cole has been at the forefront of Australian Country Music since winning 'Star Maker' in 1993. She is best known for a high-energy live show, taking an audience on a journey through laughter and tears. Beccy has received nine Golden Guitar awards and two Entertainer of the Year awards. She has also earned three gold records, 13 number-one singles and was ARIA nominated for her seventh and most personal album, SONGS AND PICTURES.
This album also earned Beccy Golden Guitars for both Female Artist of the Year and Vocal Collaboration (with best pal Kasey Chambers) in early 2012. In a career that began over 20 years ago as a teen singing in her mother Carole Sturtzel's band, and busking in Tamworth with Kasey Chambers, Beccy has toured with Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Glenn Campbell and Don McLean. She has been a regular on Australian television, performed with The Wiggles and for Australian troops serving in the Middle East, which inspired her multi award winning song, 'Poster Girl'.
Her energy and generosity are infectious.
