About this book: The term "cyber war" describes military or (also state-sponsored) conflicts that are fought through the use of technologies in digital space. In contrast to traditional wars in which physical weapons and soldiers are used on the battlefield, cyber wars shift to networks, computers and digital infrastructures. They aim to disrupt, manipulate or destroy communication systems, economic systems, government agencies and other critical infrastructures.
This book provides an overview of what makes cyber wars possible, which scenarios are conceivable and how such conflicts could develop in the future.
