She was dying and he was afraid. Fear, death and loneliness visited him every day in the war but this was different. After her accident he asked for a leave of absence from the FBI but was denied. A letter of last resort was mailed to the Director but disappeared like all great secrets never to be heard of again. He felt betrayed and abandoned by a country that sent him to war and he cried. She told him in the war that Love is as strong as death so he gave her all the poems in his heart.
Would they be enough to save her?
