No one ever spoke like Jesus

The Pharisee officers sent to arrest Jesus returned empty-handed. They could not shackle Him, because they were astonished by how this man spoke. Jesus did not speak like any of their leaders - empty rhetoric and powerless prayers. He spoke with power and authority. Demons took orders from Him; sickness and disease obeyed Him; wind and the billowing sea quietened at His orders and the dead were brought back to life by the command of His voice.
When the Pharisees demanded an explanation for why Jesus had not been arrested, the officers explained they could not arrest Him because 'No man ever spoke like Him'.
