Biographie de Derek Liang

DEREK LIANG is the Advisory Director with one of Singapore's largest financial advisory firm. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), an Affiliate of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP®). He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Trust Services from the Wealth Management Institute, Nanyang Technological University. Together with his team, they advise families and business owners in the areas of insurance planning, investment advisory and estate planning.
Derek is a multi-year qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, and consistently one of the top trust planners with Precepts Legacy (formally Rockwills Group), one of the largest estate planning company in Malaysia and Singapore. He is also a mentor to many successful advisers, a co-founder of a financial technology firm GoalsMapper Pte Ltd and an author.       Derek has spoken at various organisations and forums in Singapore and Malaysia on the areas of legacy planning and value-driven family trusts.
Through his workshops, he has also inspired hundreds of participants to embark on the path of legacy building.  He sat in the Editorial Board of Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) and has contributed several articles to the Financial Planner magazine in the area of estate planning. Derek graduated with a First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
He also attained a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies with TCA College. Derek is married to Lynne with whom he has four children, Sarah, Joseph, Hannah and Joshua. The family worships at Risen Christian Assembly in Singapore.
