This New York City travel guide is for visitors unfamiliar with New York City and who want to see the major sites in a short visit of a week or so. Forget about driving a car or riding a bus in NYC's traffic! NYC traffic jams are legendary. Getting familiar with an unfamiliar subway system can be intimidating. Once you use a good subway system, the rewards are well worth the initial effort. The book includes tips on how to use NYC's subway and navigation guide.
The subway lets you obtain lodging in areas that are much more secure and economical. Get off that tour bus and tour the Big Apple your way. Links, addresses, pics and information on the major attractions are included with tips on the best values for your travel time and dollar. Major attractions include those in Lower Manhattan, Midtown and much more.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Bruce Clark

I was born in state far away in the early 1950s while my father was getting his masters degree in geology. I spent my formative years in Indian and Spanish uranium boom towns in New Mexico. I went to high school in Oklahoma. I worked my way up in the oil field to be a supervisor of offshore operations on international assignment. I saved enough to pay for law school. I obtained two law degrees from Mc George School of Law.
I managed a policy unit for the State of California and provided guidance and instructions on compliance with federal and state healthcare initiatives. Retirement from that position allows me to pursue more enjoyable writing projects. I have a Facebook page where I can post high quality, color images. The email button works. If you see something you like and want to see a better version, I can post full size pictures to an album or send it by other means.
I'm willing to discuss selling professional grade photo papers or Giclée if you see a photograph you like.
