At the Country Dragon Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Lexie Anderson treats a wide variety of animals from hybrid dragons to griflets to ordinary and not-so-ordinary cats and dogs. A mysterious illness is spreading among the animals in the Eastern Realm, resulting in death. Lexie must identify the source of the sickness, then find a cure before more innocent animals die including an injured and sick green dragon she is treating. Elven Lord Aeren Cadiel of the Eastern Realm must protect Dr. Anderson as the tries to find a cure to a mystery illness affecting many animals. The task has not prove easy.
A goblin has attempted to kidnap Lexie and now, Aeren's betrothed, Lady Loerien of the Rocky Mountain Realm has arrived.
