Myths in Mycelium

A story set at Borealis University-a crown jewel in the educational system of an empire fallen to ruin. The students of Borealis University study many elements and aspects of living with and practicing magic. Most of them pick a specialty: Water, Earth, Air, Ether, or Fire/Heat. Leora the landwalking mermaid, of course, always performs strongly with Water. Less so with Earth, but Earth proves an element she strongly desires to master.
