Midnight in the Forbidden City

In a world ravaged by an unknown disaster, a woman roams the wasteland with her only companion, a sleek black cat named Midnight. Together, they traverse the barren landscape, searching for any sign of life or hope. The woman's only solace is the cat's company and their mutual instinct to hunt for food. Their journey leads them to a long-abandoned city, where they discover an unexpected surprise, another healthy cat, just like the woman's faithful companion.
The cats bond immediately, and soon the woman finds herself building a new family as she scavenges the deserted ruins for anything that can help them make a home.
