Dr. Veronika Hornung-Prähauser, MAS, has been working since 2001 in the interdisciplinary field of "Innovation Studies" at Salzburg Research, currently as head of the department "Innovation and Value Creation". The here lies on researching and supporting companies and organizations in the economic and social integration of "digital innovations" in various fields of application, including the Internet of Things, mobility & energy, health, social innovation, tourism and culture.
Her research focuses and interests are the systemic dynamics in the innovation early phase, new approaches for innovation management (innovation mindset; exploration, crowd participation and change management) as well as success factor research on open innovation methods and tools.

Diana Wieden-Bischof is innovation researcher and project manager in the department of "Innovation and Value Creation" at Salzburg Research. Her research focus lies particularly in the early stages of innovation. Here, the involvement of a crowd, their active participation in innovation processes, and diverse motivational factors are the focus of her work. Furthermore, she is particularly interested in new approaches to innovation management and the use of various open innovation methods and tools.
