All Lisa wants to do is get home to Albuquerque but finds herself searching for her new dog, Brutus. She'll find quirky characters, foil hats, and wayward parrots as she searches the Walmart in Roswell, NM. This story started out as a flash fiction challenge. Super short with quirky characters. Lisa, Brutus, and Steve resurface in Of Parrots and Men, as well as their new mystery story Murder and Ice Cream.
