ABOUT THE AUTHOR Melvyn is a seasoned security expert with over 40 years of experience in the industry. He has honed his skills through a combination of training, certification courses, and real-life experience in personal and corporate security and investigation. Throughout his career, Melvyn has faced numerous challenges, including surviving three ambushes and several assassination attempts, handling death threats and bomb scares, and organizing rescue operations during crisis situations. As a private investigator, security consultant, and detective, Melvyn has provided security assessments for international NGOs, reunited missing children with their families, rescued executives from criminal syndicates, located individuals in hiding, and uncovered infidelity, among other accomplishments.
He has also offered security consulting and training services to Japanese multinational corporations. Melvyn holds multiple certifications, including those as a security professional, security assessor, training director, accredited investigator, and licensed private detective. He has also served as a training specialist for Toyota Autoparts Philippines, where he established and organized the training section and implemented training programs for employees at all levels.
His training methods resulted in high productivity, improved work efficiency, zero accidents, better team relations, and effective crisis response. In addition to his security expertise, Melvyn is also a licensed Franklin Covey coach and an accomplished author, having released 18 book titles under his own name and various pen names. He has also helped 16 aspiring writers turn their dreams into reality by publishing their works.
Today, Melvyn lives a happy life with his spouse in the Philippines.
