Tasked with finding water on the moon, Commander James Secord is on his final mission for Experispace. He has every reason to believe he will succeed, as his crew is the finest corporate money can buy, and he has a machine capable of sniffing for ice below the dusty surface. Oh, he finds water-ice all right, deposited on the moon by a long extinct comet, but the samples are laced with a deadly pathogen that soon infects his ship.
The company CEO declares the crew expendable and the ship a total loss. Denied permission to return to earth, Secord's final mission becomes a battle for survival and a quest for revenge.
