Gon't go into the woods. It's a warning we've all heard, even if we don't remember exactly when. It's been repeated so many times it's practically become a myth, a fairy-tale, a ghost story, but really, countless nightmares and crimes have been concealed by the woods. Ten years ago, Penny Cooper's sister, Rose, disappeared into the trees and was never seen again. Now Penny's best friend, Charlie, has vanished into the same small patch of woodland. Two girls, ten years apart, and neither of them is Penny. Lucky her. Could the same person be responsible for the disappearance of both girls? Penny is sure there's a connection but she seems to be the only one considering the possibility. There hasn't been a single trace of Rose in a decade and Penny is determined that history won't repeat itself with her friend. She is going to find Charlie herself, alive, before it's too late. As Penny starts looking into anyone who was connected with both girls, searching for a link, it seems there may be more monsters surrounding her than she could have imagined. When anyone could be a threat, who do you trust?
