Cheyenne and Charley were traveling to Silver City when their SUV was swept off the road by a flash flood.  He helped his wife get out when the vehicle grounded on a sandbar.  Then the SUV was swept on down the raging river.  He climbed out and was spun around by the river and his head was hit by a log.  He managed to get out of the river and walked up to a road. He had lost most of his memories though so didn't know who he was.  He got a job working at a ranch where he met Sadie and Sara.
They fell in love with him and got romantically involved.  Then he started remembering his wives in Colorado; he called Cheyenne and got her to pick him up. He found that he had been declared legally dead while he was gone for three months; some of his wives had remarried. This is Novel 6 of Evolution of a Woman.  There are some explicit love scenes.
