This book has three love stories all set in Rigsby, Wyoming, a small town that seems to draw people in. Janelle is the sister of Caroline Spencer and like her, Janelle is looking to find herself. She rents a cabin and meets a Hispanic man, Joe Cameron, a friend of John Spencer. Like her sister, her parents won't be happy about his ethnicity. Jeri Maxwell grew up in Rigsby and is miserable when her parents send her to college.
She wants to run the ranch but her father wants to retire and sell the place. She begs to come home and gets engaged sort of to Brock Cummings. Unknown to her, his twin, Brant loves her in spite of her self-centeredness and anger toward her parents for moving away to Florida.. Brant gives up and gets engaged but then can't go through with it. Jeri is agnry with him. Then Brock breaks up with her and moves off the ranch and to the city where he falls for his brother's almost intended bride.
Much confusion happens between the three couples while they are learning who they are and what they need in life.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Sandy Grissom

Sandy Grissomhas loved books all her life. That love began by listening to her older sister read when she was still too young to discover the magic for herself. She's read everything from history to the phone book but her favorite authors are James Michener, Agatha Christie and the mystic William Blake. Over the years, romantic novels became a favorite. The top of that list is Pride and Prejudice.
When she retired she had too much time on her hands and spent too much money and trips to the library to get books in order to satisfy her restless soul. It was then she began to write herself. As an adult she held a variety of jobs, all of them grist for her imaginative mind. The occupations in Choppy Waters will hopefully inspire someone to fight for their own dreams, to never give up on themselves or on love.
A widow, Sandy recently moved to southern Indiana where she lives near the younger of her two beloved sisters.
