Little Sparrow

Cared for most of her life by her grandmother, Miette Brochure reads her grandmother's diary and a letter she left for her after her death. Also left for her is a necklace that her grandmother promised would bring her happiness. When Miette puts it on, she awakes in the future, 2038. Confused and frightened, she is greeted by a man who claims toknow the powers of the necklace. When Slater Erickson meets a beautiful young woman in the park, he is instantly attracted to her but she is very different from the females of this era.
After their first kiss he proclaims his love but Miette insists that she doesn't belong there with him.
