Literary Imaginarium

This book has undergone a long and original process of creation. It was born with Blanca and Arturo's illustrations, some of which were several years old. When the storyteller Pepín contemplated them, he had the idea of creating a short story for each one of them. To do this, it was necessary to dive deeply into these worlds and become intimate with the characters so that they could tell us their names and other aspects of their lives.
Slowly, unconnected details emerged until, finally, they fitted together and a short story was born. For the layout, the illustrators created front and back covers and new images, some inspired by the written stories. Finally, a year later, when there was already familiarity, two characters asked Pepín to continue their story and the Anexus was born: a text where some of these stories became intertwined.
This book - or graphic novel? - contains 32 original illustrations and the themes addressed dance around music, dreams and ecology. We invite you to contemplate these images calmly and, before reading the texts, to imagine your own stories. Thank you!
