Joan Marksman isn't the type to sit around waiting for answers, she chases after them instead. So when an exciting yet strange case is dropped into her laps, she does everything possible to solve them even at the risk of her own demons surfacing. At first everything seems clear and Joan finds herself getting closer to the bottom of the case. However, when a shady organization recruits her for their own selfish agenda, she soon realizes not everything is as it seems.
Risking everything, Joan soldiers on but unknowingly puts the lives of those she cares about at risk; forced to reconsider if fighting crime is worth the loss she had to endure.
