I make the rules. The Underground is mine. An MMA ring that I control. I call the shots. It is who and what I am. Here I am, Judge. Except to her. She refuses to call me anything but Zachary. I've wanted her for longer than I can admit, wanted to protect her, take care of her, and I have. Only at a distance. She knows it too. Knows what lengths I have gone and hates me for it. And why shouldn't she? A bastard like me is exactly what she doesn't need, but by God, I don't care.
