Investments may be a daunting term to you but it does not have to be because there are many practices you engage in that could be considered investing.  One of those is insurance whether home, auto, health and others.  Most do not think of going without health or home or auto insurance because of the risk involved.   That is a manner of investing in the future to protect yourself against the unknown.
