Biographie de Chris Erskine
Chris Erskine has been chronicling life in Los Angeles for more than 30 years. As a columnist and staffer for the Los Angeles Times, he wrote for the sports, travel, entertainment, and lifestyle sections. Best known for his characterizations of suburban family life, he is the author of three other books of essays: Surviving Suburbia, Man of the House, and Daditude. The Chicago native has also worked for papers in Miami and New Orleans.
He is aggressive in all pursuits, yet successful in few and consciously makes a point of remembering only the past 48 hours of his life. The only things he trusts are church ladies, children, and dogs -- and he is not so sure about the church ladies. He once scored 5 points against the Harlem Globetrotters, all in the first half. In the second half, they pantsed him.
