Rosemary and Guy Scott met and got married in San Antonio, Texas in 1984, during Rosemary's Senior Year of college at Trinity University. They went on to have four wonderful children in the next seven years. Both experienced successful careers in their respective fields and during the 2000's, decided to collaborate professionally, writing a humor column "Through Thick and Thin, " which was based on their relationships and family life experiences. Their humor column ran in local Texas newspapers for several years, reaching readers across South Texas and making the couple Local Celebrities in their own right. Rosemary worked in media for 20 years, and was named "Marketer of the Year, " in 2007, and also became "One of the Most Influential Women in Radio, " for 10 consecutive years from 2005-2015. While working in media, she wrote business articles for multiple newspapers and magazines throughout the country including Billboard, Ad Week, Direct Marketing Magazine, Hispanic Business, Radio Ink, the San Antonio Express News, and many others. Guy, an Air Force veteran, became a successful Life and Health Insurance General Agent winning many industry awards including three Screaming Eagles from American Life, and the prestigious Order of the Blue Max Award and the Blue Vase award from Ohio State.
He also served as Vice President for various large companies, but ever an entrepreneur at heart, was happiest when running his own company. Thanks to the couple's commitment, their partnership has endured for more than 40 years, through good times and bad, through tears and laughter, and through thick and thin.
