Steve Shelley set off to drive from London to Cape Town, expecting to be away for a few months. He didn't come back for thirty years. He visited more than 40 national parks and reserves in 20 countries, established a business business taking clients on safari to Botswana's Okavango Delta, settled in Kenya, carried out assignments for the parks authorities of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, built a house, raised a family, learned to fly, played in rock band .
