After the Sapphire Raven Kin's attempts to rebuild failed and the place was burned down, Stevie lost hope in continuing her father's legacy and finding a place she could call her own. Samuel, along with Sebastian, Gabriel, Jeremy, and King Oras Godspear, had come up with a solution to Stevie's problem. They had acquired a fortress in a distant and peculiar land, and the men were convinced that this was exactly what Stevie needed.
However, they were unsure if it was something she would actually desire. To complicate matters further for the men, Stevie departed from Scotland with a cryptic note, informing no one of her intended destination, leaving them uncertain about her stance on the plan. The men were determined not to let Stevie's disappearance go unnoticed, so they decided to use teleportation to travel to Sedna, Washington, the only place Gabriel and Sebastian knew she loved.
However, they were not the only ones interested in finding her.
