The multiverse is a set of coexisting and independent universes. It is a speculative scientific hypothesis elaborated in several cosmological theories that hypothesize the existence of other universes (multiverse) besides the one observed by man. The multiverse, in addition to being now a classic of science fiction literature, is a physical theory that postulates the existence of coexisting universes external to our spacetime.
