School memories has recently become a relevant object of inquiry in the educational historiography, that considers them as traces of what the school of the past has left in our present. The book proposes some possible research paths on individual and collective school memories and, through the analysis of written and filmic sources, presents some case studies for the Italian and Hungarian national contexts.
