Jack is happily married with two daughters. Megan is also, and their daughters are best friends as well as neighbors. Their families get along great and enjoy spending time together. Only, Jack isn't as happily married as it appears on the surface. If only he and his wife Nancy had a little more time, a bit more intimacy. Or really, a lot more. Their sex life seems to have grown stagnant over the last few years.
Nancy's nursing career keeps her busy with long, challenging shifts that begin and end at inconvenient times. Megan, too, wishes for a bit more from her marriage. It's not easy when your husband is on the road for work a lot. She's proud of him and enjoys when he is around-but misses what she doesn't have (or get) when he's gone for weeks at a time. When Jack and Megan end up spending Independence Day together with their daughters, there are more sparks than just in the sky.
