In my secret identity, I am a ninja cartoonist.
In college I drew political cartoons and published hand-made comics which I sold out of my backpack, including BRISBANE THE BARBARIAN, RAMBI, and ARIZONA SCHWARTZ THE LOST ARCHAEOLOGIST. I have scripted and drawn comics for Antarctic Press and Radio Comix including AZTEC ANTHROPOMORPHIC AMAZONS and stories for the comics anthologies NINJA HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK, FURRLOUGH and GENUS; and scripted a three-issue limited series for INNOVATION titled CELESTIAL MECHANICS.
Currently I write and draw a pulp-era adventure webcomic titled HANNIBAL TESLA ADVENTURE MAGAZINE, set in the futuristic world of 1935. I write about obscure and overlooked Bible stories at my blog "The Ones You Didn't Hear In Sunday School" and occasional pieces of fiction and gaming-related pieces at "Cold Steel and India Ink."I am a contributor to HUNT THE WINTERLANDS, a dark fantasy anthology conceived by Alex Ness and edited by Josh Brown.
I live in the Enchanted Land-O-Cheese with my wife and daughters, along with two cats, a snake, several fish and a bushel of ferrets.
Michael May writes the comic Kill All Monsters and other cool adventure stories. He lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota with his wife, son, and a dragon that doesn't eat its vegetables.
