One of the most practical and easy things to knit are slippers. This is a great pattern to practice if you are a new knitter as it only uses very basic stitches. With this pattern, anyone can create slippers for adults from a woman's size 7-12 or a man's 6-11. This is a great pattern to practice if you are a new knitter as it uses very basic stitches. Even if you have never knitted before you can learn how to make these slippers with the complete how to video on YouTube.
My video, How to Knit Slippers for Children and Adults, shows every step from casting on the stitches to sewing up the seams (the clickable link is in the pattern when you download it). It also provides links to even more free knitting and crochet patterns! There is also an ad supported version available to read online at KweenBee.com.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Janis Frank

Originally, I started selling finished beaded jewelry on Etsy and was overjoyed when folks started buying it. It further developed into finished slippers, more jewelry and a variety of unique collectibles and antiques. Time and life went on and I created a number of unique slippers, texting mitts and jewelry items that no one else was producing. I became a little bored making the same things over and over and finally decided to create my first tutorial on how to make seed bead bracelets.
That led me down the road of self publishing. Once bitten by the pattern writing and publishing bug I never looked back. I now have a number of patterns, and more in development published with all the major online retailers including Amazon, iTunes, Barnes & Noble, Indigo/Chapters, and more. Amazing what a chick from the prairies can accomplish with a computer, an Internet connection, a little creativity and dare I say, chutzpa ;-)
