History of France

The kingdom of France of the medieval ages, emerged fromthe Western dominion of Europe. It was called asCharlemagne's empire of Carolingians. During those days, theterritory was prominently called as Western Francis. It wasduring the later years in and around 987, the prominence ofthis Western francias heightened with the formation of theHugh Capet. The house of Capet is quite significant in theFrench history.
